Dear Metalsa Family and Stakeholders,

I am happy to give you an update on our sustainability efforts.

In 2022, Metalsa achieved a significant milestone in its journey towards a sustainable future. Our new Vision prioritizes Sustainability as a critical pillar to fulfill our long-term strategies and transform toward being agents of change in caring for our planet. For the first time, we have set challenging long-term targets for Environmental, Social, and Governance.

Our success depends on our financial performance and how we engage with our collaborators, customers, suppliers, communities, and the environment. We are dedicated to promoting sustainable development and creating value for all our stakeholders.

We recognize the importance of our contribution to the global effort to address climate change. Therefore, we have committed to adopting sustainable practices throughout our operations to reduce our carbon footprint. Sustainability gives us an opportunity for growth and innovation, and we are enthusiastic about being part of this movement and leading the way.

In pursuit of our goal, we have pledged to become a Net-Zero emissions company by 2050 and have set Science- Based Targets for decarbonization by 2030. This will involve introducing initiatives like transitioning to renewable energy sources and improving our manufacturing processes. We are also aiming to establish 2030 context-based water targets.

Our people drive our success, and we strive to provide a safe and inclusive workplace where everyone is treated with respect and dignity. We have implemented policies and programs to promote Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and regularly engage with our collaborators to understand their needs and concerns.

Our commitment to transparency and accountability is reflected in our adherence to the highest ethical standards of governance. We have established robust governance practices to ensure that we operate with integrity and report on our sustainability performance to all stakeholders.
