Metalsa S.A.P.I. de C.V. was founded in 1956 by Don Guillermo Zambrano Jr. and has its headquarters in Monterrey. We are the automotive subsidiary of Grupo Proeza, an industrial Mexican group privately owned, controlled and operated by the Zambrano Family. The Group maintains operations and exports its products globally.

During 2022, Metalsa delivered strong growth, landing above pre-pandemic levels, despite continued supply chain constraints and an uncertain economic environment. Our revenue increase was driven by a strong recovery in chassis structure and side rails in North and South America.

Culture

At Metalsa we are aware an aligned culture is key for a successful transformation. Thus, we defined an updated reference framework seeking to capture hybrid skills, based on social behaviors and knowledge applicable in the business context. We considered critical thinking, tolerance to complexity and ambiguity, future thinking, active learning.

In October, we held the official roll out with key leaders and communicated action plans to broadcast it to the entire company. In 2023 we will carry out onboarding and training sessions for all collaborators on the new principles.
